You are a treasure hunter on the island of Tobago. In order to find it, you must play clue cards to narrow down where each of the treasures are. Once a treasure is located it's a race in your jeep to dig it up and all that contributed in the hunt get a share of the reward. (Beware of the curse cards in the deck!)

Tobago is a beautiful game with a three-piece board that can be laid in different combinations to change the island you explore. There are multiple versions of this game with vastly different components so try to get a version with the cool 3D island statues and trees if components matter to you, otherwise a copy with the flat wooden pieces should suffice. The pieces in the fancier version are gorgeous though and add to the feel of the game.

Overall, this is a medium-light offering that packs quite a bit of fun as you race around the island for treasures. It's a fairly easy game to learn and teach, but competitive enough to provide plenty of entertainment for even seasoned gamers. You may have to do a bit of searching, but it's worth the effort.
